Lady Wooes
Perhaps the most elegant steam tug ever, was the statement made by one journalist whilst reporting on the LADY WOOES. As with the LADY JAN, the LADY WOOES is based on the Empire Tugs built on the River Humber during the war years of 1940-45. This very powerful twin screw steam tug, with RUST coloured GRP plated & riveted hull, & practical deck layout, makes this model an ideal regatta and tug-towing boat.
The Lady Wooes, with it's many fittings, winches, windlass, lifeboats & derricks, is a very 'full' & 'busy' looking craft, admired where ever 'she' goes.

OAL - 40" (1015mm)
Beam - 11" (272mm)
Rust coloured GRP (glass fibre). plated & rivited detailed hull, and like all of our tug hulls, extra laminates in & around the 'stress' points, to give the strongest construction possible.
Superstructure is from either timber or plastic, which ever is your modelling preference.
Twin screw, single rudder ( like a barn door !! ) with choice of electric motor or steam power units.
