'D' Class Lighter
Another FIRST from Mobile Marine Models is the All NEW inexpensive Vac-formed plastic kit of the 'D' Class lighter..... Simple to build.... compact & light to carry , yet large enough, at 26 1/4 " - 665mm, to 'look-real' behind ( or in front ) of any tug .... with a beam of 6 3/4" - 175mm, and a moulded depth of 3 1/8" - 80mm, this boat offers ample volume to accommodate several 'water-bottles' for ballasting.... for, like any 'towed' vessel. the deeper 'she' is in the water, the better the 'tow'.
As with All of MMM boats, the 'D' Class is multi-optional... Hull Only ... Hull & Deck Kit.... optional Deck Cargos.... optional Fittings Pack... giving you , the modeller, complete freedom of choice ...... AND... for the modeller who wants-to-do-that-something-different... the 'D' Class is very simple to motorise.. AND.. converts quite easily into a Landing-Craft.
