Lady Jan
![]() |
The S.T. LADY JAN is one of the many single screw Warrior Class Empire tugs built on the River Humber during the war years of 1941-45, and is perhaps the best example of the Empire Ivy, Empire Bracken, Empire Dixie availabe to the modeller who with little research at the library, etc. can build anyone of the twenty seven different boats, including the famous Beamish, from this unique hull and plans.
Shown with the modifications carried out to her superstructure during the late 40s and early 50s, the classic looking steam tug LADY JAN , just as happy under live steam as with electric power, offers the modeller a fine regatta boat, an ideal work boat and a first class traditional Tug-Tower
