These inexpensive SAFETY couplings are designed to protect the propeller, motor, speed controller of model boats. Simple in design and even simpler to install, the SAFETY coupling has in-built Shear Pins, that, in the event of the propeller becoming fouled, the pins will snap, thus allowing the motor to run free without the fear of over-load to the electrics and / or electronics.
Pondside replacement of the shear-pin is both simple and cheap.
